Okay so first off, I use Photoshop CS5 for all my manips. But I’m pretty sure this tutorial can be moulded to whatever software you use too.

1. Firstly I get separate of the two celebrities, and I make sure they are as HQ as possible. For this manip I’ll be using a picture of Pixie Lott and Harry Styles cause they’re my ultimate otp. The easiest way to make a manip is to use pictures from the night, it’s simpler to blend the two picture’s to using black than any other. But if you’re feeling confident, of course, you can use day time pictures. Also try to use two pictures where they both would look realistic together. Like don’t use two picture where they are both walking in different directions.
2. Usually I choose the smaller picture to work with, and use as the ‘background’ picture. So I’ll make the other image smaller, so both celebrities are the same size. And because my Pixie picture is small in width, I’d make the canvas size larger on that.
   
   And then I drag Harry’s resized image layer on top of Pixie’s.
   
3. Now I’ll lessen the opacity of Harry’s layer to about 60%.
   
4. This is the major step now. So using the eraser tool, first I’ll use quite a large brush to get away the bulk of the excess around Harry. Using whatever hardness of brush suits you.
   
   And then, by using a very small eraser brush, and with the hardness right up, you erase all the closer, clashing parts.
   
   And then once that’s done, we get this:
   
5. And literally all we have to do now is crop it too 500px in width and whatever in height. Add whatever effects and editing you want, and we’re done :)
